How do you change the autoboot setting?

I didn’t select yes when I installed because I wanted to try everything out first. Now that everything is working, I would like it to autoboot into openframe.

There’s no setting to enable/disable it on an existing frame (there should be! adding it to the backlog.)

The easiest way is to reset the frame: openframe -r

This will wipe the existing frame instance on the Pi and start fresh, asking for your user/pass, frame name, autoboot Y/n. If you’ve installed any extensions on the frame you’ll need to reinstall them. Note that reseting won’t remove the old frame from your account, you’ll need to do that manually via the web app.

If for some reason you really don’t want to reset the frame, you can open up ~/.bashrc on the pi and add the following line at the very bottom:

source ~/.openframe/autoboot.sh

Thanks!

I spent several update/install cycles to get the openframe-slideshow extension working, I think I give editing the script a try.
