Openframe.io on Samsung LCD (1920 x 1080) and rotate 90 deg

Hi,

I’m using Raspberry 3.

Seems on 1080p, 60Hz, the animation is slow.

Also, if using rotated screen, openframe.io will encounter error when display images.

Anyone encountered the above problems?

Interesting, haven’t noticed this issue specifically around display rotation — but I’d guess it’s related to your question about the max resolution. Or is this a different/more specific error?

Also, regarding the slow animation — you’re referring to shaders I suppose? The speed at which the shader plays is highly dependent on the complexity of the shader. The raspberry pi is a sweet little machine, but it’s not a massive number cruncher; shaders that need to do a ton of calculations won’t perform well.

H26.4 videos should playback smoothly.
